The tower's design and choice of material makes it unique in Norway.
In the surroundings, you will find medieval churches, burial sites, ruins of old fortresses, manors and the highest concentration of rock carvings in Norway.
In addition to a wonderful view from the top of the tower, there are fifteen beautifully carved pieces depicting the history of time .
A 100 meter ramp with a wall made of steel, leads you to the entrance. The wall is decorated with carved icons, describing the different time zones in our history.
The idea of the park is to increase the awareness and understanding of our cultural heritage, the landscape and the importance of preservation.
The tower with its park will definitely catch the attention of some 20-30 000 cars passing by every day and will also be of great interest to the «Sarping» and «Østfolding».
